Weekend visitors can participate in family-friendly lab activities and view sea creatures, or venture out to sea on Marine Wildlife Cruises. Guests can also take a “Pirate” Adventure Sail aboard the tallship Spirit of Dana Point.
On Sundays, visitors can tour the historic brig Pilgrim, which hosts unique Living History programs based on the book Two Years Before the Mast.
During the Summer, the Ocean Institute offers a Blue Whale Safari on their research vessel the Sea Explorer.
